Additional Trend view procedures

A few additional procedures for the Trend view are given below:

  1. Go to Programming and create a Trend view. See Working with Trend view and Programming for more information.
  1. To change the name of the y-axis and the pin, click on the Y-axis/trend column of the trend table. Click on the axis/pin and change the name.
  2. To change the trend color, click on the Trend color column of the trend table. Select the required color from the drop-down menu.
  3. To display a thick trend line, check the box in the Emphasis column of the trend table.
  4. To change the frequency of the trend data, click the Sampling column of the trend table and select the required time in seconds. The time range is 1 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec, 30 sec, and 60 sec.
  5. The trend values captures the data according to the selected frequency.
  6. To display the trend data in lines or points, select Lines between points or Points only from the drop down list in the Value representation column of the trend table.
  7. To change the minimum and maximum value of the y-axis, enter the required values in the trend table under the Min and Max column.
    • Click / on the trend graph to lock/unlock the min and max values.
  8. The minimum and maximum values are updated in the trend graph.
  9. To change the y-axis position on the trend graph, select left / right in the Axis position column of the trend table.
  10. The position of the axis appears to the left / right of the graph chart area.
  11. To change the axis mode, select Linear or Logarithmic from the drop-down list in the Axis mode column of the trend table.
  12. The axis values display in the line or log format.
  13. Click or on the trend graph to increase / decrease the time range along x-axis.
  14. Click or on the trend graph to increase / decrease the trend values along y-axis.
  15. To change the trend graph type, select Static / Strip / Scope / Sweep from the drop down list in the trend graph.
  16. To display only certain trend/pin values on the graph, click Select trend option in the trend graph and select the trend values.
  17. Click to export the trend graph as a CSV file and click to import .csv files.
  18. To view only certain elements on the trend graph, click View on the trend graph and select Legend to display the pin names on the graph, Ruler to display the ruler on the graph, and Show markers to display the markers used in the graph.
  19. To change the date on the graph, click Time at the bottom of the trend graph and select the required date.
