Exporting the web root certificate

Exports a root certificate (the certificate of the certification authority) to install the root certificate to a client, for example, web browser.

 

Export the root certificate in Settings > Certificates

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Open the Certificates tab.
  3. Select the Web certificates tab.
  4. Select the project root certificate, [name of the root certificate].
  5. In the toolbar, click Export signing certificates for web.
  6. The root certificate is exported and located, for example, in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Siemens\DESIGO\Exports.

Export the root certificate in Building > Certificates management

  1. Go to Building.
  2. Open the Certificates management task.
    Certificates management
  3. Select the Web interface tab.
  4. Click Export root certificate (/Web).
