Renewing the IEEE 802.1X internal operational certificate

Renew an internal operational certificate

  1. A full download with an operational certificate is already performed.
  1. Open Building > Certificates management.
    Certificates management
  2. Select a device.
  3. Select the IEEE 802.1X tab.
  4. Click Renew internal.
  5. The operational certificate is renewed.
  6. The validity date of the operational certificate is extended.
  7. Download the new operational certificate with Only updated certificates.

Renew an internal operational certificate from device details

  1. A full download with an operational certificate is already performed.
  1. Open Building > Building structure.
  2. Select a device.
  3. Open the Details pane.
  4. Select Certificates.
  5. In the X802.1 certificate section, click Create certificate or Renew certificate.
  6. The operational certificate is renewed.
  7. The validity date of the operational certificate is extended.
  8. Download the new operational certificate with Only updated certificates.
