Copy field devices to plant navigation view

You can drag field devices from the library to the required plant in the plant navigation view.

For example, if you drag a Modbus device from the Library and drop it anywhere inside the Plant, newly added device is displayed automatically under the Resources > Modbus folder.

It is not required to expand the Resources folder in the project tree to drop the field devices from the Library.

• Drag the field devices from the library to any folder under the plant scope.
• You can drag-drop multiple type of field devices to the plant, e.g devices from Mbus, Modbus, PL-Link.
• This functionality is restricted outside the plant scope, e.g. Device state aggregation and State.
