Central annual shading (CenAnnShd11)
Overview
The application function "Central annual shading 11" (CenAnnShd11) calculates the anti-glare protection state using threshold values and time delays as well as information from an annual shading computer on the network, and distributes them to subordinate AFs CenAnnShd11 or directly to the connected shading functions.
Note: Local anti-glare protection is active if one room is occupied (default value in RShdCoo11 for room operating mode Comfort and Pre-Comfort).

Function
Main inputs are the effective brightness (BrgtEff) from CenBrgtWths11 or CenBrgtFcd11 and information from an annual shading computer on the network.
The annual shading computer calculates for each window whether it is shaded by objects in the areas or whether reflecting surfaces (facade, water) throw light on the window. The information is forwarded to the associated AF Shd11.
The AF calculates the anti-glare protection state forwarded via internal connection. It can accept the following value:
- High direct
If brightness is greater than BrgtLmOn for longer than DlyOnBrgt and the sun reaches the facade.
Shading goes to the locally defined "High" position unless the annual shading computer overwrites the position due to shade or reflections. - High indirect
If brightness is greater than BrgtIdrLmOn for longer than DlyOnBrgt and the sun does NOT reach the facade.
Shading goes to the locally defined "None" position unless the annual shading computer overwrites the position due reflections. - Hold direct
If brightness is less than BrgtLmOn for longer than DlyOffBrgt.
Shading goes to the locally configured "Hold" position. - Hold indirect
If brightness is less than BrgtIdrLmOff for longer than DlyOnBrgt.
Shading goes to the locally defined "None" position unless the annual shading computer overwrites the position due reflections. - None
If the sun reaches the facade and the brightness is less than BrgtLmOff, or if the sun does not reach the facade and is brightness is less BrgtIdirLmOff for longer than 4 * DlyOffBrgt.
Shading goes to the locally configured "None" position. - Dark
If brightness is less than BrgtDarkLmOn for longer than DlyOnBrgt.
Dark is reset to None, if brightness is greater than BrgtDarkLmOff for longer than DlyOnBrgt.
Shd11 does not use them, but it is available for customized functional extensions.
The delay (DlyOnBrgt) prevents movements that are too frequent.
The reaction time can be extended on a sliding scale (as a type of integral function) if multiple quick changes occur. Parameters LgtSnsDlyMax and LgtSnsDlyMin are used to this end.

Interface to annual shading computer
The annual shading computer writes its information to two BACnet objects:
- GlrPrtIdrAgl (here in AF CenAnnShd11)
- AnnShd (on each individual local AF ShdAnnGlrPrt11)
The value is written:
- In the event of a change;
- Cyclically, every 5 minutes.
