Generic input devices properties

Properties

The listed properties are displayed in the Hardware and network editor > Inspector window > Properties tab when the DALI-2 generic input device is selected in the Device view tab.

General

Property text	Description	Default value
Template	Template define which template is used. The template stores name, values and used information. List of available templates	∼
Name	Name is a text field to enter the name of the device. The name is shown in the device view.	Depends on the selected device.
Comment	Comment is a text field to enter any helpful information on the device.	Depends on the selected device.
Short designation	Short designation shows a short description of the device. Read only.	Depends on the selected device.
Order number	Order number is a text field to enter the order number.	Device type of the selected device.
Version	Version shows an Internal version of the device. Read only.	V2.0

Device

Serial number	Serial number shows the serial number of the device. Read only. The serial number is assigned during installation and commissioning.	-

Short address shows the address used to communicate point-to-point with one device. Read only.

The short address is applied in the installation tool.

Group address

Group address defines the DALI group number.

Devices with the same DALI group number are controlled by the same Lighting-Output-Object (LgtAOut).

Range: 0...15

Note: This property is not applicable to DALI-2 devices.

Serial number

Serial number shows the serial number of the device. Read only.

The serial number is assigned during installation and commissioning.

Functions

The Functions/Chanel table in the Functions provides 32 instances that can be configured according to the type of sensor for DALI-2 device. Use DALI-2 rail for DALI-2 generic input devices.

Presence detector

The Presence detector table in the Functions exists for all the DALI-2 instances that has an activated presence detector. Set the following properties for all activated instances.

Neutral zone timer	Neutral zone timer defines the minimum wait time between each input event that the presence detector can detects.	1500
Report timer	Report timer defines the heartbeat update interval if there input value do not change.	30
Reception timeout	Reception timeout supervises the reception of regular event messages when Presence detector (occupancy sensor) communicates with the device.	0

Brightness sensor

The Brightness sensor table in the Functions exists for all the DALI-2 instances that has an activated brightness sensor. Set the following properties for all instances.
