Importing a web operational certificate from an external CA

Import an external operational certificate

  1. You have an externally signed certificate.
    Exporting the web root certificate
  1. Open Building > Certificates management.
    Certificates management
  2. Select at least one device with external certificate type.
  3. Select the Web interface tab.
  4. Click Import external.
  5. Select the certificate file.
  6. Click Open.
  7. The operational certificate is renewed.
  8. The validity date of the operational certificate is extended.
  9. Download the new operational certificate.

Import an external operational certificate from device details

  1. Open Building > Building structure.
  2. Select at least one device with external certificate type.
  3. Open the Details pane.
  4. Do the following:
  5. for the device version ≤ 1.5: select the IPv4 tab.
  6. for the device version ≥ 1.6: select the Certificates tab.
  7. Click Import certificate.
  8. Click Open.
  9. The operational certificate is renewed.
  10. The validity date of the operational certificate is extended.
  11. Download the new operational certificate.
