Downloading Building X integration data

In order for Building X to be able to access the data, the integration data must be loaded for each device. With a full load, this data is not loaded to the device.

  1. A device is connected and discovered.
  2. The control program is downloaded.
  1. Open the Startup > Configure and download task.
  2. In the Engineered devices tab, right-click a device that matches a discovered device.
  3. Select Load and then Building X integration data.
  4. The Load Building X integration data dialog opens.
  5. From the Write access level drop-down list, select the write access level to assign to the cloud.
Note: Any points that require a more sensitive level of access are exported as read-only and cannot be controlled via the cloud. Normally, all objects of type outputs and setpoints are commandable/writable, but some sensors could also be defined as commandable.
  6. Click OK.
  7. You have downloaded the Building X integration data to a device.
  8. Onboard the device to the Cloud and activate the required data points.
