VAV Operating Mode

VAV Operating Mode

VAV: Air volume flow control 0..100% between Vmin and Vmax

Positioning mode: Damper position control 0..100%

VAV

Position adaption 1)

Position adaption mode defines how the opening angle is mapped to the 0...100 [%] opening range.

Adaptive positioning is needed for VAV boxes with a damper opening range other than 0..90°.

VAV: 0..100 [%] is mapped to 0..90°

Positioning mode: The actuator determines the actual opening angle during startup. The actual range (e.g. 15..75°) is then mapped to the 0..100 [%] positioning signal.

VAV

Alarming

Property

Default value

Alarming

: Alarming is disabled.

: Alarming is enabled. An Event Enrollment (EE) object is created.

: Alarming is disabled
