TX rail properties

The listed properties are displayed in the Hardware and network editor > Inspector window > Properties tab when the TX rail is selected in the Device view tab.

Succession of TX devices on TX rails

If more than one TX rail is required, bus connection modules are required. If island bus expansion modules are used, a power supply module is required as well. See the TX-I/O planning and installation manual, CM110562, for the correct place of these devices on the rail and their wiring.

The internal bus power supply has to be configured using one of the following settings.

Manual off: Internal bus power supply is permanently off.

Auto detection depending on connected devices: Internal bus power supply is automatically turned off if no TX- I/O modules are connected to the TX rail.

Manual on: Internal bus power supply is permanently on.

Total power available

Total power available shows the sum of the powers of the internal power supply of the TX rail and the power supply modules on the TX rail.

The value is calculated automatically.

Power remaining shows the remaining power of the TX rail.

The value is calculated automatically, based on the power consumption of the power supply modules and TX modules that consume power.

Note:
If the value of the internal power supply of the TX rail is exceeded, a TXS1.12F4 Power supply is automatically added to the TX rail.

1) If the subsystem-specific extension TX-I/O (FldBusMgmt - subsystem-specific extension) of the BACnet object Field bus management object (FldBusMgmt) is enabled, you have to configure this property in the BACnet objects editor or in Web interface.
