The General and Catalog Information group provides information about the device.

Property

Mode shows the network mode of the device. Read only.

KNX PL-Link

Name

Name is a text field to enter the name of the device. The name is used to identify the device in the device view.

Comment

Comment is a free text field to enter any helpful information on the device.

Power consumption

Power consumption shows the power the device consumes. Read only.

Unit: [mA]

The value is used to calculate the remaining power of the KNX rail.

Short designation

Short designation shows a short description of the device. Read only.

Order number

Order number shows the device type. Read only.

Functions

The functions table in the Channel Overview provides an overview of the channels of the device. Depending on the device the values in the table are read only or can be edited. The available types depend on the device and the application function.

Switchover: If the light is on, it is switched off. If the light is off, it is switched on.

Light dimming sensor basic (LDSB)

LDSB mode defines if 1 or 2 pushbuttons are used for switching or dimming and defines the behavior of the pushbuttons.

The assortment of available selections depends on the device type.

Switching & dimming: 1 pushbutton is used. A short key press toggles between switching the light on or off. A long key press toggles between dimming the lights up or down.

On & dimming up: 1 pushbutton is used. A short key press switches the light on and a long key press dims the light up.

Off & dimming down: 1 pushbutton is used. A short key press switches the light off and a long key press dims the light down.

2 buttons, switching & dimming: 2 pushbuttons are used. One of the buttons switches the light on or dims the light up the other switches the light off or dims the light down.

Time long key press

Time long key press defines how long a pushbutton has to be pressed to be detected as a long key press.
