Deleting devices
There are three ways to remove a selected device:
- Press DEL on your keyboard.
- Right-click the device and select Delete.
- Click on button Delete in the upper right corner.
Once you have created devices and used up ID ranges, the system does not release the used ranges after you delete the devices. In case you have used up a range, you need to get a new range in order to be able to add new devices. To get new ranges, open Settings > Number ranges, select the corresponding overview, and click Get new range.
Rooms and devices can be moved from special folders into building structures.
Moving devices
Special folders are only visible, if they contain objects.
Delete a room
- Right-click a room and select Delete.
- The room is moved to the Unplaced rooms folder.
Delete a device
- Right-click a device and select Delete.
- A message is displayed.
- Confirm with Delete.
- The device is deleted from the project.
