Adding the serial number

All automation stations are delivered with an attachable address sticker with a unique serial number and barcode. The address sticker can be removed during installation and attached to a building floor plan.

You can either add the serial number by using a barcode scanner or by reading back the data after commissioning.

 

Add the serial number by using a barcode scanner

  1. A barcode scanner is connected to your computer.
  1. In Building > Building structure, click in the Serial number field of the device.
  2. Scan the barcode of the device.
  1. The serial number of the device is added to the Serial number field.

 

Add the serial number by data read back

  1. A device is configured and connected.
  1. Download automation stations.
    Configure and download
  2. Upload an automation station configuration.
  1. The serial number of the device is added to the Serial number field.
