Programming editor
In the Programing editor, you program your function blocks. You can drag elements from the Library and the Project navigation view to the Programming editor and connect them.
The chart
The Programming editor contains one large chart. All I/Os on the top level are visible.
The blocks in the chart
The chart contains blocks and connections between the blocks. Some blocks have icons and are color-coded.
Pins
Blocks have pins. Not all pins are visible by default. The green triangles at the bottom of a block indicate that some pins are hidden. You can select which pins are visible.
The data flow between the blocks
Blocks can be connected. Lines show the data flow between the blocks. The data between the blocks flows from left to right and from top to bottom. 1:n connections are possible.
