Element properties tab
The Element properties tab shows the properties of the selected element. The tab title changes according to the selected element. The items displayed in the Element properties tab depend on the selected element in the Programming editor or Room editor.

Extension | The naming extension of the selected element. Click the button next to the Extension field to define the extension rule. |
Extension type | Applicable for xFBs, disabled / hidden for charts. |

Number of input pins | The number of input pins. |

Name | The name of the pin. |
Type | The data type of the pin. |
Value | The value of the pin. |
Unit | The unit of the data type. |
Section | The pin is an input pin or an output pin. |
Visible | The pin is visible. |
For testing | The pin is marked for test. |
Description | The description of the pin. |
Multistate configuration | The enumeration configuration of integer pins. |

Setting | Description |

Protection | Protects the chart from unauthorized changes. You must define an access password. |
Read-only | The chart cannot be changed. |
Changed | Set to writable or readable when the Read-only checkbox is checked/unchecked. Note: This field is empty for the first instance. |
Origin | Shows the origin/original location of the chart and timestamp when chart was created. |
Version | The version number of the chart. Numeric value in the form "abc.def" (read / write, between "0.0" and "999.999" or empty). |
Type | The chart type. |
Author | The author of the chart (read / write, max 255 characters). |
Library group | The drop-down gives a list of predefined group names to group the content in the Program blocks folder under Library. Library group tags are available only for charts. |
Help ID | Help ID for context help of the selected chart. To open the help page for the selected chart, press F1. Note: Do not change the Help ID of predefined charts, else the context help will not work as expected. |
Element properties > Structure
Setting | Description |

Show in BACnet | Checkbox to show the corresponding chart on BACnet or removing it from BACnet again. By default, it is unchecked. |
Function type | Type of function with text picker and custom text support. |
Family | Module family with text picker and custom text support. |
Options | Option tag with a list of predefined group names. You can add only one option tag for the chart while you can add multiple options for function blocks and text boxes. |

Horizontal sheets | The number of horizontal sheet bars in the chart. |
Sheet size | The size of the sheet, e.g., A4, Letter. |

Object instance | The object instance number as an integer. To change this entry, select BACnet reference (if available) in the BACnet object type field. |
Version | The version number of the block. |

Copy configuration from BACnet object | Copies the setting of the BACnet object to all "Value" pins of the function block.

Element properties tab > Group members
The group members view allows you to assign and remove group members from group managers.

Assign all | Assign all group members to a group manager. |
Assign selected | Assigns the selected group members to a group manager. |
Remove selected | Removes the selected group members from the group manager. |

Object name | The full object name of the group member object. |

Element properties tab > Configuration
Program blocks are configured by means of BA value objects. The main values of these value objects are listed to provide a configuration functionality on the program block function level.
The following objects are listed for the configuration:
- Analog config, calc and process values
- Binary config, calc and process values
- Multistate config, calc and process values

To reset an entry to the default value, click the icon next to the Value, Unit, Visible, and For test properties.

Is enumeration | The selected pin is an enumeration. |
Enumeration | The enumeration of the selected pin. |
Type | The data type of the pin. |
Visible | The pin of the block is visible in the Programming editor. |
For test | The pin is marked for test. |
Copy enumeration to other pins | Copies the enumeration configuration to all other Value pins of the function block that can be configured as enumeration. |

Setting | Description |

Textbox in background | The textbox is displayed behind all other blocks. |
Text | The text in the textbox. |
Font | The font of the text. |
Text color | The color of the text. |
Font size | The size of the font. |
Alignment | The alignment of the text, e.g., left, centered. |
Wrap lines automatically | The text is wrapped. |
Border color | The border color of the textbox. |
Border width | The border width of the textbox. |
Background color | The background color of the textbox. |

Setting | Description |

Source | The source block of the connection. |
Target | The target block of the connection. |
Negate | Negates binary connections. Only available for connections between Boolean pins. |

Assign all | Assigns all calendars in the list to the scheduler. |
Assign selected | Assigns the selected calendars in the list to the scheduler. |
Remove selected | Removes the selected calendars in the list from the scheduler. |

Description | The description of the calendar object. |
