info

Program blocks are stored in the library without I/Os. Use the auto-create and auto-connect functions to create I/Os and/or to connect them to the interface blocks, e.g., R_A, CMD_B. Alternatively, take the I/Os from the folder containing the predefined I/Os in the library and/or from the plant and connect them to the interface blocks.

Function

SplyHw23 connects the heating plant with consumers and/or lower level coordinator(s).

The most important functions in the program block are:

  • Heating demand collection and evaluation
  • Hot water temperature setpoint collection and evaluation

Further information

Heating demand collection and evaluation

SplyHw23 receives binary hot water demand signals [HwDmd1...n], [WarmUpDmd1...n] from other consumers or coordinator(s), and calculates binary values for the heating request and warm-up request output pins [HReq], [WarmUpReq]. If at least one hot water demand signal or warm-up demand signal is True, the corresponding output pin(s) is True.

Hot water temperature setpoint collection and evaluation

SplyHw23 calculates a supply temperature setpoint request value [SpHReq] for the hot water system based on suggested setpoint values received from other consumers or coordinators. The calculated setpoint is the maximum of all incoming setpoints that have no disturbance and are accompanied by an active hot water or warm-up demand. In addition, a minimum temperature limit [SpHReqMin] and an offset value [SpHReqOfs] apply to the calculated setpoint.
