Program blocks are stored in the library without I/Os. Use the auto-create and auto-connect functions to create I/Os and/or to connect them to the interface blocks, e.g., R_A, CMD_B. Alternatively, take the I/Os from the folder containing the predefined I/Os in the library and/or from the plant and connect them to the interface blocks.
Controls the position of a valve by converting a modulating control signal to 2 binary output signals with 3-position behavior.
This logic ensures that the valve is kept open or closed for special applications with possible valve drift over time.

Do not use the 3-position controller for controlling actuators with a positioning time of less than 30 seconds.

The opening and closing time can be parameterized in the program.
This program block has the following optional functions:
Option: Feedback closed (1xBI)
Reads the end switch of the actuator for the closed position of the valve.
It supports the synchronization function.
Option: Feedback opened (1xBI)
Reads the end switch of the actuator for the opened position of the valve.
It supports the synchronization function.
Option: Kick function
Prevents standstill damage by generating a pulse that opens the valve at a configured time with a defined pulse length after a minimum off time has elapsed.

This is configured in the program.
Option: Trigger manual synchronization
Software button that triggers a manual synchronization.
