Program blocks are stored in the library without I/Os. Use the auto-create and auto-connect functions to create I/Os and/or to connect them to the interface blocks, e.g., R_A, CMD_B. Alternatively, take the I/Os from the folder containing the predefined I/Os in the library and/or from the plant and connect them to the interface blocks.
Calculates the rate of utilization of the energy recovery per year.
ErcUtzRate21 uses the air volume flow and the temperature difference between the outside air and the temperature after the energy recovery to calculate the energy recovery power. This power is integrated over the length of time and the recovered energy is calculated. The total energy for heating/cooling of the outside air needed for reaching the supply air temperature is calculated in a similar way.
The energy recovery utilization rate in % is calculated by dividing the recovered energy by the total energy. The result for the present period (which is a calendar year) is constantly calculated. At the end of the year, the result is saved, and the calculation is reset.
This program block has the following optional functions:
Option: Subtract energy recovery pump power
Use this option for a run-around coil ERC, e.g., Erc23 or Erc24, and power measurement for its pump. It subtracts the pump power from the energy recovery power.
Option: Subtract ERC cooling exchanger power
Use this option for a run-around coil ERC with heat and cool exchanger, e.g., Erc25, and power measurement for the exchanger for additional cooling.
Option: Subtract ERC heat exchanger power
Use this option for a run-around coil ERC with heat and cool exchanger, e.g., Erc25, and power measurement for the exchanger for additional heating.

ErcUtzRate21 can be used to calculate the utilization rate of any type of energy recovery system if the needed temperature sensors are installed, especially TSuAfErc, and the air volume flow of the supply air is known. For example, for Erc23 and Erc24, only keep the option "Subtract Erc pump power". For Erc21 and Erc22, delete all three options.

The optional powers must be measured and/or calculated as required by the project.

ErcUtzRte21 can be used to calculate the utilization rate of any type of energy recovery system if the needed temperature sensors are installed, especially TSuAfErc, and the air volume flow of the supply air is known.
Adapt the options accordingly. For example, for Erc23 and Erc24 only keep the option "Subtract energy recovery pump power". For Erc21 and Erc22 delete all three options.

The optional powers that are to be deleted must be measured and/or calculated project-specifically.
