Program blocks are stored in the library without I/Os. Use the auto-create and auto-connect functions to create I/Os and/or to connect them to the interface blocks, e.g., R_A, CMD_B. Alternatively, take the I/Os from the folder containing the predefined I/Os in the library and/or from the plant and connect them to the interface blocks.
Compares a temperature to a setpoint and generates impulse signals to demand more or less power.
A PID controller compares the temperature with the setpoint. Its neutral zone is the tolerance around the setpoint. If the controller output reaches its maximum, an impulse for more power is generated. If the controller output reaches its minimum, an impulse for less power is generated.
After generating the pulse, an external logic increases or decreases the power and activates the input of the program block (TraSta), which indicates that the external logic is in a transition state. During this transition state, the evaluation logic stops.
