Installing an ABT project (with subcontracting)
The project is shared by a project owner and a subcontractor (installer). The installation procedure is divided, and data is exchanged between the project owner and the installer.
Prepare and handover working package for installer
1 | Open Building > Building structure. | |
2 | Create a Pack & Go file. | |
3 | Handover the following data to the installer (subcontractor): -- Pack & Go files (*.txt, *.ABTGo) -- User name and password -- ABT Site installation package |

Install working package
The installer receives the working package and installs the project.
1 | Double click the Pack & Go file (*.ABTGo). ABT Site starts and loads the Pack & Go data. |

2 | Set up the connection. | |
3 | Connect the laptop to the automation station. | |
4 | Open Startup > Configure and download. | |
5 | Configure the automation station (node setup). | |
6 | Download the configuration. | |
7 | Launch the web interface of the automation station (go to web interface). | |

Prepare and handover working package for project owner
The installer creates a working package of the installed project and hands it over to the project owner.
1 | Open Startup > Export. | |
2 | Create a Pack & Return file. | |
3 | Handover following data to project owner: -- Pack & Return file (*.ABTReturn) |

Import handover data (optional)
- | Pack & Return file (*.ABTReturn) is local on the computer. |
