Bottom-up workflow

I want to create my own plant from scratch.

Create a project

1	Create an ABT project.	Project Manager
2	Define passwords for all users in ABT Site > Settings > User profiles.	User profiles

1	Select the pre-configuration file for the library behavior in the project.	Pre-configuration file
2	Select the desired notification class template for the behavior in the project.	Checking the notification classes template in the project
3	Define building names in Settings > Naming defaults > Object names tab.	Object names tab
4	Define ranges for network properties of automation stations in Settings > Number ranges.	Number ranges

1	Go to Building > Building structure.	Building structure
2	Define a building structure (buildings, building elements).	Defining a building structure

Add a device.

1	Create and assign TX & Onboard I/Os.	Creating I/O data points
2	Add Modbus devices.	Modbus

Add I/Os to chart:

-- Drag outputs from TX & Onboard I/Os and Modbus folders in Plants navigation view to right side of chart.

-- Drag inputs from TX & Onboard I/Os and Modbus folders in Plants navigation view to left side of chart.

(Optional) Show and hide pins.

1	Add program blocks to chart: -- Drag program blocks from the Library to the center of the chart between the inputs and the outputs. -- Arrange blocks in stripes. Place the input on the left, the program block in the center and the output on the right.	Working with the library
2	(Optional) Rename elements.	Renaming elements
3	(Optional) Show and hide pins.	Showing and hiding pins
4	Connect I/Os to program blocks.	Working with the Programming editor

Add a block for reading setpoints from BACnet.

(Optional) Set the present value of the setpoint:

-- Select the block you added.

-- Open the Properties tab and select the BACnet Properties tab.

-- Set the present value.

1	Add a scheduler.	Working with the library

Load the program on the device.
